a quick check of weather.com said it was a balmy single degree fahrenheit this morning. i geared up and headed out the door with my ipod but not with my gps watch. my route was my 5 miler that swings near the hospital before heading back home. about two miles from home i saw yet another driver sail right through a four-way stop. the real drama was about a mile from home when i hit a patch of ice and nearly fell. my effort to keep my balance was not even remotely graceful but it’s not like it matters in the wee hours of the morning.
