long time no blog
saturday and sunday i didn’t run since i was in michigan. it was real tough to make time to run as family was the priority.
monday morning, before driving back to wisconsin, i went out for a 5 miler. within 3/4 of a mile from the hotel, there was 11 deer grazing in the woods. they just kind of stared at me as i turtled by.
tuesday i packed gear and headed out during lunch for another 5 miler. i overdressed a bit and ended up a bit more overheated than necessary.
today i took the day off from running. the weather here turned miserable with gusty winds mixed with rain/sleet/snow.
not much time left before 10AM ET on 4/16/07. the weather forecast isn’t looking very promising at the moment. many variables can be influenced heading into a marathon but the weather isn’t one of them.
