Back on the wagon
this morning i got up for an easy 5 miles. temps were in the mid 40’s and it was a bit foggy. i wore my new-to-me garmin 301 this morning as well. my original GPS wouldn’t take a charge from the USB cable so i sent it into Garmin who responded in kind with a factory reconditioned unit. funny, the 8 Lap Timex Ironman watch I bought in the early 90’s is still going strong. in fact, that’s the watch i’ve been using while the GPS was being exchanged. (of course i’ve had to change the batteries in the Timex over the years…but it’s never broken!) oh yeah, i ran this morning and ended up a little over 41 minutes which was around 8:20 pace.
