july junket

without question, the highlight of the first third of july had to be our trip into michigan to visit my side of the family. running-wise, getting an opportunity to run a 10K in july with relatively cool conditions was a real treat. the effort gave me some hope that by the fall i’ll be back in shape and really ready to race.

7/1 – 5 miles (easy)
7/2 – off (drove to MI)
7/3 – 10.5 miles (10K – 41:03 + warm up and cool down)
7/4 – off (caught up on sleep and visited with family)
7/5 – 7 miles (around auburn hills before driving back to WI)
7/6 – 8 miles (glacial drumlin through bethesda park and back)
7/7 – 6 miles (happy birthday to me)
7/8 – 8 miles (glacial drumlin – saw a woman riding one of those old school bicycles with one 5 foot tall wheel in front and a little wheel behind)
7/9 – 8 miles (glacial drumlin/fox river trail)
7/10 – 5 miles (got caught in a downpour)
7/11 – 10 miles (got rained on three times)

MTD – 67.5 miles
YTD – 985.75 miles
Odometer – 30,493.75 miles
